Your questions,
answered.
What you need to know to choose your component and use it.
Which A can I play more softly?
Middle A on the bassoon. Fitted to the corresponding mechanism, the component lets you play it more softly, with a stable, clean response.
Can I use all three functions with one component?
You can reposition the same component for a different application, but you cannot use all the functions at once with a single component. For several functions installed at the same time, you need one component per position.
Do I need a repairer to install it?
No. It is designed for you to fit it yourself by following the instructions and securing it with the two screws.
Is it compatible with my bassoon?
La Pianissimo is designed for use on all bassoons. If you are unsure about your mechanism’s configuration, send us a photograph before ordering.
